Subdomains (such as your-business.uk-takeaways.net) are web address where internet users can find your website. All subdomains of UK-Takeaways.net and the Content of these subdomains remain the property of UK-Takeaways.net.
Domain Names
We may register domain name (such as www.your-business.co.uk), and store the web pages created by UK-Takeaways.net in this domain. However, the domain name would be registered under the management of UK-Takeaways.net and the domain and its Content remain the property of UK-Takeaways.net. It might be transferred to the management of the takeaway owner at a negotiable charge.
Search Engine Optimisation
For any service package that you sign up with, it is guaranteed that during the contract term your takeaway and menu would be found in the three major search engines, namely Google UK, MSN UK, and Yahoo UK, for the keyword pattern of 'Takeaway Name in Town'. However, for first-time clients, the waiting time of getting listed by these search engines would vary from a few weeks to a few months, as we simply have no control on how quick these search engines would respond to new pages. Nevertheless, in the very unlikely case that we fail to get your takeaway listed by any of the search engines by the end of one-year contract term, we will extend your service package for another 12 month completely FREE of charge.
Use of Services
The prices of the service packages are solely for the initial process of the order if applicable and the annual subscription for keeping the information of your takeaway business listed in the database of UK-Takeaways.net and presented in the web pages created by UK-Takeaways.net. Free publicity materials coming with our welcome package are only bonus of our service, and can not be refunded or exchanged for cash or discount if you don't need them. UK-Takeaways.net is for takeaway owners to publish the information of their takeaway business, we reserve the right to refuse or remove any unsuitable information supplied by the clients.
Upgrade on Website Style for 'Standard Website Package' Users
The upgrade on website style for 'Standard Website Package' users is defined as changing the style of your website to be any other website style which has already been developed and listed in our website. We can not upgrade the style of your website according to your specific requirements. A flat rate of £20 applies on each upgrade.
Upgrade on Website for 'Bespoke Website Package' Users
Should users of 'Bespoke Website Package' feel it necessary to make any change on their established websites according to their specific requirements, there would be a charge on the upgrade depending on the workload caused.
Update on Menu Information
Each update on menu information is defined as a request from the takeaway owner to update one or more business information on the website. These information could be dish name, dish description, prices, special offers, conditions of delivery, etc. This request shall be made in writing, ideally by sending us the updated menu flyer. Oral instruction over the phone can not be accepted. There would be a charge depending on the workload caused.
FREE Update on Menu Prices
All service packages come with one FREE update in the contract period on takeaway menu.
Additional Publicity Materials
Should users need more menu stickers for their takeaway flyers, additional menu stickers are available at the price of £6.50 for a pack of 650 menu stickers (ONLY 1p each) plus £1 P&P fee for each order.
Use of the Information of Your Business
With the intention to promote your takeaway business on your behalf, we may list your menu, website and other business information on menu-search and takeaway-finder websites under our control.
Delivery of Services
Turnaround is measured in Working Days, starting from the day that both order is proofed and payment is cleared. The turnaround time we give is a general time guideline and is not guaranteed unless we had confirmed this with you in writing.
Cancellation of Order
You can cancel an order before the website of your business becomes available online. In this case, we will notify you at what stage your order is, calculate the cost and refund you the rest.
Cancellation of Services
Once the website of your business becomes available online, you are in a 12-month contract. Cancelling your service package before the contract period has finished will lead to the removal of your website and relevant information of your business from UK-Takeaway.net and other websites under our control with immediate effect, and the payment you have made are NOT refundable.
Termination of Services
Towards the end of a contract, we will send renewal letters to you with a due date for you to reply. Ignoring this letter or failure to reply before the due date will automatically lead to the termination of the service contract by the end of the contract period. Your website and business information would be removed immediately from UK-Takeaways.net and other websites under our control.
